THE SOCIAL NORDISK BÜRO

The „Medical Intervention Team e.V.“ (MIT) is a charitable association engaged in volunteering plastic surgery, dentistry, ENT Medicine, anesthetics and first aid in less-developed countries and conflict areas. A team of the best doctors and nursing staff of the Frankfurt area helps people in need mainly with reconstructive plastic surgery free of charge.

Nordisk Büro wanted to help too. Our designers worked hard on communication schemes such as business stationary and the team’s website as well as supporting the search for sponsors. All services and productions were done by Nordisk Büro free of charge aswell.

DER CHARITY ABEND

Furthermore Nordisk Büro organised a charity event in the Restaurant Table, for the non-profit organisation. The restaurant in the Schirn Kunsthalle museum was transformed into an area reserved for relief project for sick children in Burma.

Next to a three course meal Nordisk also organised a special guest for musical entertainment.Michael Koschorrek, guitarist of one of the most successful bands in Germany “Söhne Mannheims” played free of charge for the guests of the charity evening. To increase donations for material and medicine, a fundraising raffle was organised. Guests could win a trip to New York, a gift certificate for Swan's Concept Spa or a dinner in the restaurant Table.

With the proceeds from the raffle and the money the doctors themselves contributed, the trip to Burma was already realisable in october. Nine plastic surgeons, ENT doctors, anaesthesiologists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons and dentists went to Southeast Asia, together with Lorenzo Bizzi, founder of Nordisk who took care of all organisational issues garanteeing for a smooth operation.
